Ali Zafar Fails To Recognize Katrina Kaif

Actress Katrina Kaif has rubbished stories of a rivalry with Bollywood colleague Aishwarya Rai.

Bollywood's most looked upon couple, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, have survived an ordeal of controversies in the tinsel town every now and then. Recently, rumors were hot that Aish had stopped Abhi from acting opposite Katrina in 'Dostana 2'.

Adding a new twist in the story, buzz has it that Aish has recommended Katrina to director-producer Vipul Shah for his next venture 'The Italian Job' opposite Abhishek, hence putting an end to whispers of animosity between the two actors.

Abhishek and Katrina are all set to be a part of Shah's Bollywood remake of 'The Italian Job'. Apparently, with Ash recommending Katrina's name, this puts an end to rumours about their alleged animosity. Earlier, gossips included that Katrina declined 'The Italian Job' because of the presence of Aishwarya's hubby Abhishek and there was another instance that Aishwarya prevented Abhishek from signing any films with Katrina.

Talking to a news daily, a source said, "Vipul's first option was to cast Abhishek and Aishwarya. It was Aishwarya who prompted Vipul to cast Katrina instead."

Katrina also confirmed that she has no issues working with Abhishek either. "All these ridiculous rumours about me not working with Abhishek started when my dates for 'The Italian Job' didn't work out, and 'Dostana 2' got postponed. Abhishek is a great guy.

I did 'Sarkar' with him at the start of my career. There were other offers but I felt they were not good enough to do justice to our pairing. I decided that whenever we work together again, it would be for a full-blown romantic comedy."

It seems like Katrina might work with the actor in 'Dostana 2'.
