Katrina & Salman To Work Together Agai

When Salman Khan signed My Love Story opposite Kareena Kapoor, rumours were rife that he and Katrina Kaif would never sign a film together. And his alleged separation from Katrina served to add fuel to the fire.

But Bollywood's bad boy, who has time and again surprised and shocked many, put all wagging tongues to rest by signing David Dhawan's next with Katrina. The staggering Rs 80-crore project will be produced by Sohail Khan.

In the new film, that's rumoured to be a remake of the 70's blockbuster Amar Akbar Anthony, Salman will take on the mantle of Anthony, which has been immortalised by Amitabh Bachchan. And Katrina will play his ladylove in the role of Jenny.

Among others there's Arbaaz Khan who will replace Vinod Khanna, with wife Malaika Arora Khan opposite him, Rishi Kapoor's role of Akbar Allahabadi will be essayed by Sohail Khan.

Interestingly, this brothers' bonanza also stars Sneha Ullal, who is better known as an Aishwarya Rai look alike. While Katrina may be his latest ex-arm candy, it looks like Salman still hasn't grown out of his Aishwarya hangover.

Katrina And Deepika Fights Over ‘Joker’The two B-Town damsels Deepika and Katrina are fighting over Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Joker’,as both of them are trying to pit in their best to get the lead role in the movie.

Deepika and Katrina continue the fight,

but this time it is not around Ranbir Kapoor. This time it is for getting the female role in Akki’s production house movie, ‘Joker’. It is a movie made jointly by Akki’s ‘Hari Om Productions’ and Farah Khan’s and Shirish’s ‘Three Company’.

But it seems that Katrina has an upper hand to Deepika as she is already acting opposite to Akki in Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and she would be obviously given more priority than Deepika.

But, Akshay is in a dilemma now as he is also close friends with Deepika and he can’t upset her as well. Meanwhile, Shirish, the other co-producer of the film wants to take the third route and he wants some other actress in the movie, so that nobody is stuck with choices.

Ali Zafar Fails To Recognize Katrina Kaif

Actress Katrina Kaif has rubbished stories of a rivalry with Bollywood colleague Aishwarya Rai.

Bollywood's most looked upon couple, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, have survived an ordeal of controversies in the tinsel town every now and then. Recently, rumors were hot that Aish had stopped Abhi from acting opposite Katrina in 'Dostana 2'.

Adding a new twist in the story, buzz has it that Aish has recommended Katrina to director-producer Vipul Shah for his next venture 'The Italian Job' opposite Abhishek, hence putting an end to whispers of animosity between the two actors.

Abhishek and Katrina are all set to be a part of Shah's Bollywood remake of 'The Italian Job'. Apparently, with Ash recommending Katrina's name, this puts an end to rumours about their alleged animosity. Earlier, gossips included that Katrina declined 'The Italian Job' because of the presence of Aishwarya's hubby Abhishek and there was another instance that Aishwarya prevented Abhishek from signing any films with Katrina.

Talking to a news daily, a source said, "Vipul's first option was to cast Abhishek and Aishwarya. It was Aishwarya who prompted Vipul to cast Katrina instead."

Katrina also confirmed that she has no issues working with Abhishek either. "All these ridiculous rumours about me not working with Abhishek started when my dates for 'The Italian Job' didn't work out, and 'Dostana 2' got postponed. Abhishek is a great guy.

I did 'Sarkar' with him at the start of my career. There were other offers but I felt they were not good enough to do justice to our pairing. I decided that whenever we work together again, it would be for a full-blown romantic comedy."

It seems like Katrina might work with the actor in 'Dostana 2'.

Katrina Kaif injured – bloody nose returns

Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif recently ended up with a bloody nose when she got injured on the sets of YRF’s unnamed flick at the Pataudi Palace in Haryana.

Apparently, Katrina was injured on the same place where she had been previously injured during the making of ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ when Ranbir inadvertently landed a blow on her face. Well, this time around, Katrina got injured due to error of judgement on Imran’s part.

Talking to a news daily, a source from the sets of YRF said, “They were shooting a funny scene in which Imran is holding a gun in his hand and Katrina is by his side. He had to move around and pull Kat toward him with the other hand. But while shooting, he accidentally smashed the barrel of his gun on Katrina`s nose. It happened in a split second and her nose started bleeding.”

“Everyone panicked because there was blood oozing from her nose. The shooting stopped and she was escorted to the vanity van. A doctor was called on the set and she was administered first aid. After a while the bleeding stopped, but she was still in pain,” said the source.

When contacted, Katrina confirmed the reports and said, “Yes, I got hit in the same place as I did during ‘Ajab…’. I am pretty bruised but the staff feels its good luck for the film. But it was a funny scene so I think it was worth it.”
